i have heard this song in a movie/web series but i cant quite put my finger on it

this song reminds of how, despite the fact that she claimed she was the friend that always listened and never vented, she was the one who talked the most about herself and never even asked. how ill probably never be close the girl i was best friends with from first to seventh grade with again. how, even though i think ive gotten better, there's still some days when i think everyone would be better off without the burden of myself. how no matter what, i dont think ill ever be good enough at what i want to be good at. how my best friend is the only reason im made it through eighth grade alive. how, even as i thought i was getting better, i broke down the first time i tried to talk about it. how im no longer religious, yet the fear of sinning still haunts me. it reminds me of the lost childhood privelage of getting to act how i wanted, like an animal or like a dork, and nobody thought i was crazed. how i used to be disgusted at the sight of blood, and yet, im desensitized to it. it reminds me of the days where i would stay up too late, just so that i wouldnt have to start the next day and see them all over again. reminds me of the awkward tension between her and i the day of our eighth grade dance, because id stopped talking to her and taking her bullshit toxic behaviors. how my weekends were spent in bed, or on the couch, doing nothing. how i stopped doing stuff that made me happy for so long, that i didnt know how to do them anymore. this song sounds like im grieving for myself, the person i could've been if i had made the right choices. the child that died that day in march of 2020. the person i killed when i stopped caring about myself. the artist i could've been, and the person i will be. the life i could have saved if i had only spoken up. it sounds like the loss of someone who doesnt exist, someone who never has, and never will, solely because of my own actions.

I can see this being a song of an apocalypse show where the all of the main characters die at the end

this feels like losing someone you love, specifically to su!c!de. standing at a funeral, realizing you’ll never see them again. hear their voice or their laugh, or see their eyes, or hug them. that they left you alone, and even though it wasn’t their fault, you can’t help but feel guilty.
